Rodeo Camp
This is an all Western riding camp.
Each camp session will be from 8am until noon Monday - Thursday.  
Each camper should bring a sack lunch.  Campers need to wear long
pants and boots with a heel, but can bring shorts to change into for the
non riding part of camp.  Sun screen is recommended.  Helmets are
required while working with the horses and we will provide them.  A
hand book will also be provided.
Campers ride each day.  We will hold
a "Rodeo" on the last day of camp
parents are encouraged to come and
watch!

regular horse camp our rodeo
camp does not have an age
cut off.  
$250 per Camper

Each camper will receive
a hand book, rope, and
goat tying string that they
keep after camp is over.

Counter
Campers will be split into groups according to
riding capability and ages.  It is recommended
that if your camper has never ridden before they
should attend the regular horse camp first, but it
is not required.  Campers groom and saddle
horses each day and should know how to do
this before camp.

Campers will learn the basics of barrel racing,
pole bending, goat tying, and roping.  They will
learn the history of rodeo and all of the events:
Bronc riding, Bull riding, steer wrestling,
tie-down calf roping, etc.  They will learn about
the different equipment needed for each event
they will be learning such as bridles, bits
saddles, pads, etc.
